The Gates Open: PBIBS 2026 Ready for Record-Breaking Edition

By Nora Hart

The 2026 edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) has officially opened its gates, promising a spectacular five-day showcase of the world’s finest vessels, innovations, and lifestyle experiences. Stretching along the iconic Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, this year’s event is set to be the largest in the show’s 44-year history, with more than $1 billion worth of yachts and marine equipment on display.

Among the headline attractions are some of the world’s most remarkable superyachts. Leading the fleet is Lürssen’s 78.4-metre ROCINANTE, a striking grey-and-white vessel featuring a cinema, spa, and expansive sundeck pool. Close behind is Feadship’s 76-metre BOARDWALK V, designed with family living in mind and boasting a mosaic-lined sundeck pool. Other highlights include Admiral’s 75-metre KENSHO, Tankoa’s 72-metre CASINO ROYALE, and the six-deck hybrid-powered AMOR À VIDA, launched by CRN in 2025. The Superyacht Show at Palm Harbor Marina serves as the dedicated large-yacht enclave, where visitors can experience vessels exceeding 70 metres in length.

Innovation is also centre stage, with several world debuts making their global premieres. Numarine’s 40MXP redefines long-range cruising, Alia Yachts’ 43M XIMENA combines performance with elegance, and Aiata’s modular WAYFINDER 38 challenges traditional yacht design. These new arrivals reflect a growing trend towards versatility, sustainability, and cutting-edge onboard living.

Plus, PBIBS 2026 offers more than just yachts. Visitors can explore the Nautical Ventures AquaZone, participate in fishing clinics, and enjoy over 75 food and beverage options. For those seeking a premium experience, the Windward VIP Club provides a curated environment with early access to the docks, gourmet dining, and exclusive pop-up events.

Beyond the show itself, Palm Beach remains a destination in its own right. From the designer boutiques along Worth Avenue to cultural highlights like the Norton Museum of Art and the Flagler Museum, the town offers a blend of sophistication and leisure. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore 27 beaches, the scenic Mounts Botanical Garden, or championship-level golf and equestrian events in the surrounding area.

For more than 40 years, the Palm Beach International Boat Show has been a vital part of South Florida’s marine community,’ says Alyssa Freeman, executive director of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County. Andrew Doole, President of U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets, adds: ‘We’re proud to showcase the very best in boating and yachting, while delivering meaningful economic value to the region.’

With its record-breaking fleet, global premieres, and unique lifestyle offerings, PBIBS 2026 promises a spectacle that celebrates both the elegance of yachting and the vibrant energy of Palm Beach.
