The Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta 2025: Style, Competition, and the Spirit of Porto Cervo
The Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta returned to Porto Cervo with a display of elegance, precision, and spirited competition, as some of the world’s most impressive sailing yachts gathered on Sardinia’s renowned coastline. Organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS) and supported by title sponsor Giorgio Armani, this year’s regatta once again blended high fashion with world-class yachting in a spectacular setting.
The 2025 Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta took place from 27th to 31st May 2025 in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. This year’s event delivered a dynamic mix of conditions, from steady northerly breezes to lighter, more tactical airs. The racecourse, set against the striking backdrop of the La Maddalena archipelago, provided a technical challenge for crews and a visual spectacle for onlookers.
The Superyacht class saw the SWAN 115 MOAT deliver a commanding performance, securing the overall win with consistent results throughout the week. In the Corinthian Spirit class, the SOUTHERN WIND 108 GELLICEAUX emerged as the leader after a closely contested series.
Alongside the main regatta, the Southern Wind RendezVous brought together a select group of SOUTHERN WIND yachts, highlighting the sense of community and shared passion that defines this annual gathering.
On shore, the regatta maintained its reputation for understated elegance, with owners and guests enjoying a programme of private events and the distinctive presence of Giorgio Armani as title sponsor.
With another successful edition concluded, the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta continues to set the standard for competitive sailing and sophisticated yachting lifestyle in Porto Cervo.
