The Official Round-Up of Superyachts.com’s Soirée at the Bay
On the evening of the 3rd of December, the sounds of steel pans, saxophones and cheerful guests resonated from the shores of Carlisle Bay. Superyachts.com’s Soirée at the Bay was a wonderful start to the charter show week; it was an evening of cocktails, canapes and astounding entertainment, made even more spectacular with an exciting competition where Captains were in for the chance of winning a trip to Barbuda.
Held at the luxurious Carlisle Bay, Captains and Chief Stews were invited to the ‘Soirée at the Bay’: a lavish evening hosted by Superyachts.com. The night entailed watching an exclusive screening of Superyachts.com’s documentary series ‘Discovering Barbuda’, delicious canapes and cocktails and a spectacle of entertainment from fire breathers, steel pans, a DJ and dancers.
On top of all of this, an incredible prize was on offer to Captains. By simply scanning a QR code and completing a short survey after watching the screening, entrants were in for the chance of winning a day trip to Barbuda.
Captains from SEALION, SEAOWL, BLACK PEARL, ALTA, ZEEXPLORER and PISCES were the lucky winners, and will be making their way to Barbuda on the 10th of December. They will arrive at Antigua’s sister island by Calvinair Helicopters, enjoy a decadent lunch at Nobu and then take part in a round of golf at Barbuda Ocean Club.
This incredible event was supported by Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority, Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Charter Yacht Show. The evening would not have been possible without our incredible sponsors: AON, Charter Itinerary, CIU, Onshore Cellars, Starboard Card, Visual Pusers and Yacht Carbon Offset.
Superyachts.com would like to thank everyone who attended the Soirée at the Bay. It was an unforgettable evening, and we cannot wait to welcome our lucky winners to Barbuda.
