Doha’s glittering coastline is preparing to welcome the world once again as the Qatar Boat Show returns for its second edition from the 5th to the 8th of November 2025. Following a record-breaking debut in 2024, the upcoming event promises to be even more ambitious, immersive, and influential, cementing Qatar’s position as a rising power in the global luxury yachting scene.

Hosted at the iconic Old Doha Port, the inaugural show made an unforgettable impression. Over 23,500 visitors from 90+ countries explored 495 brands across 250,000 square metres, with 74 vessels on display, including 20 world premieres and 22 regional debuts. It became the largest inaugural boat show ever held, reflecting Qatar’s growing credibility in the ultra-luxury market.

‘Qatar Boat Show 2024 exceeded even our boldest expectations,’ said Mohamed Abdulla Al-Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Organising Committee. ‘For 2025, we’re building on that momentum with new global partnerships, expanded showcases, and a more immersive experience for both professionals and enthusiasts.’

More than a trade show, the event is a celebration of maritime culture and innovation. This year’s programme will feature live jet ski stunts, nighttime paddleboarding, firework displays, floating cafés, and the colourful charm of the Mina District, offering a vibrant waterfront experience for all.

Old Doha Port, once the country’s main commercial harbour, has undergone a dramatic transformation. Now a premier marina with over 450 berths, Qatar’s largest superyacht dock, and world-class facilities, it stands as a hub for luxury yachts, cruise ships, and watersports. It also plays a key role in Qatar’s National Vision 2030, promoting sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, and international maritime connections.

First developed in the 1940s as a trade gateway, the Port has evolved into a modern lifestyle destination. The full reopening in 2022 marked a new chapter, one that blends history with modernity and positions Doha as a major player in global yachting.

The 2025 edition won’t simply build on last year’s success, it aims to emphasise all that a boat show can be. With its unique blend of Middle Eastern heritage, modern spectacle, and a fast-growing network of global partnerships, the Qatar Boat Show is carving out a distinct identity on the international stage.
