The Second Hull in Baglietto’s T52 Line Hits the Water

By Frances Flannagan

On February the 17th, the second hull of Baglietto’s T52 line was successfully launched, named INFINITY. Like her sistership, she boasts an array of innovative design features that optimise the use of space on board alongside cultivating a strong connection to the sea.

INFINITY was launched at a private ceremony in La Spezia, attended by her Owner and his family alongside the top management of Marine Marketing, who represented the Owner throughout her construction.

She is characterised by a number of design innovations introduced by the Seagull brand with this series, like her sistership who was launched in February last year and proudly presented at the latest boat shows. INFINITY features an open stern with a beach club spanning three different levels, a design element which has since become a signature stylistic component of the Italian yard’s recent yachts.

Her pool is concealed by a unique moving flooring system that extends the deck space when the pool is not in use, alongside an upper deck sky lounge that can be opened on three sides. Its expansive windows ensure a constant view of the sea, seamlessly blending the indoors with the outdoors. INFINITY also boasts a 24m sun deck, longer than that of any yacht of a similar size and volume and becoming a hallmark of Baglietto’s displacement yachts. This combined with the floor-to-ceiling windows in the sky lounge make INFINITY a vessel that immerses her Owner and guests with their surroundings, forming a strong connection to the sea in her interior and exterior areas.

Specific to this yacht is an outer private veranda which can be accessed directly from the master suite, also able to be used as a gym. This flexibility in function highlights the innovative nature of Baglietto’s design even further, as INFINITY’s Owner can choose to use his private veranda in a variety of ways.

INFINITY can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots, featuring two Caterpillar C32 engines.
