The Sixth Mangusta 104 REV Hits the Water

By Frances Flannagan

Mangusta has announced the launch of the sixth Mangusta 104 REV, blending the shipyard’s slender and sporty line with elegant and balanced beauty. This model is a glaring example of how cutting-edge technology and design can be incorporated seamlessly into a high-performance, comfortable yacht.

Mangusta 104 REV is the entry level of the by-now iconic Mangusta Open line, instantly recognisable as a Mangusta design due to her sporty yet elegant beauty. In a spectacular collaboration between the Italian yard’s Engineering Department and Lobanov Design, the form and content of this hugely successful line has been reinterpreted while preserving Mangusta’s distinctive features.

Like her five predecessors, this yacht boasts cutting-edge technical solutions, with the ability to reach high speeds, with a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 35 knots. Her highly efficient hull and powerful propulsion system have resulted in unmatched comfort alongside optimised consumption.

The sixth Mangusta 104 REV was built in composite material at the shipyard’s Viareggio site, highlighting the brand’s extensive experience in the use of composite materials on large yachts built to deliver impressive performances.

A key aspect of her development was a special focus on reducing noise and vibrations which, when combined with her bright interiors and spacious volumes, ensures maximum comfort on board. She boasts generous exterior spaces, with the fly seamlessly integrated in her profile.

The Mangusta 104 REV is the perfect example of the ways in which advanced technology and impeccable design can go hand in hand with a high-performance vessel, simultaneously allowing for comfort and a distinctive style.

Following her launch, the sixth Mangusta 104 REV will be based in the Côte d’Azur and cruise the Mediterranean sea. Her sale was overseen by Samuel Le Gall of Northrop and Johnson and Ivan Adzic, Area Manager of Mangusta.

More units of this model are set to be delivered in the upcoming season, with the first available hull currently for sale and expected to be delivered in Spring 2025.
