Third Pershing 140 Hits the Water in Italy

By Emily Dawkins

Pershing has launched the third unit of its successful flagship Pershing 140 series. The brand-new 43m has now become the brand’s first ever flagship superyacht built entirely from aluminium, marking a significant milestone as a new construction era for Ferretti Group.

The ‘powerful and spectacular’ Pershing 140 is the result of an impressive collaboration between architect Fulvio De Simoni, Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Not only one of the yard’s most successful models, the Pershing 140 is the brand’s first line of yachts to be built at Ferretti’s superyacht yard in Ancona.

Extending over two main decks and a spacious sun deck, the new Pershing 140 features signature sleek lines that embody the brand's sporty personality. The raised bridge on the main deck offers direct access to the sun deck, which can be customised with a bar, sunbathing area, and second helm station. A generous beach club, located aft of the engine room, can be opened up on three sides for an intimate water experience, tailor-made to accommodate the owner’s plethora of water toys.

One of the unique features of the Pershing 140 is the large, comfortable lounge on the main deck, which connects the interior to the exterior with ease. The owner of this new 140 has personalised this space with a professional winery in the bow which has been adorned with mirrors and bright lights to create eye-catching optical illusions and fill the space with light.

The 43m can accommodate 10 guests across five suites, including one full-beam master suite which is accessed through a private study and small lounge area, and boasts a generous walk-in wardrobe, and a large bathroom with a steam shower.

The onboard decor of the Pershing 140 range is completely customisable. For this third unit, fine materials and furnishings have been provided by top luxury design brands, including Poltrona Frau, Minotti, Artemide, Roche Bobois, Molteni, and Fontana Arte, to confirm the sophisticated aesthetics of Pershing builds.

The Pershing 140 is equipped with four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines and offers an impressive top speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots.

This launch of another Pershing flagship model confirms the brand's unique design features and high-quality builds, making it a highly sought-after model in the superyacht market.
