In the first episode of 'This is Monaco', we told you the story of how Monaco has evolved over the decades. In this week's episode, we'll be exploring Monaco's perfect balance between work and play, and how it has become a playground for ultra-high-networths.

"It's kind of a well-kept secret," says Michel Bouquier, Head of Monaco Private Label.

"Many people here are repeat visitors. They come here for the experience, which is quite unique."

With its glamorous boutiques, bustling beach clubs and world famous casino, we'll be giving you exclusive access to all areas to uncover its sought-after lifestyle.

"I've been living here for over 14 years now. It's got an incredible collection of places to go out, high-end shops, high-end restaurants. Over 120 nationalities are living here. It's super cosmopolitan and super energetic," adds Espen Øino, the designer and naval architect behind some of the most recognisable superyachts in the world.

"You also have the yacht club which is by far the most amazing yacht club in the world. There's always something going on. It's a great place to live, and a great place to work."

What makes Monaco like no other? You'll have to find out for yourself.
