TINTIN: The Latest Westport With Vegan Interior

By Heather Collier

TINTIN, a spectacular 34m Westport is far from conventional. With countless upgrades and a well-conceived vegan interior, she is yet another fine example of modern day semi-custom superyachts crafted in the U.S.

Delivered in late 2021, Tintin pays homage to the beloved character from the famous comic book series The Adventures of Tin Tin. The series follows the explorations of a reporter and adventurer as he travels the world with his dog, Snowy.

With the current owners being animal activists, sustainable and vegan interior was simply a must-have, with recycled materials and faux leathers brought into play. She features a refreshing light and airy interior with vibrant, whimsical pieces and 4 luxurious staterooms that can host up to 8 guests, one of which is a currently set up as a fully-equipped gym.

The in-house design team used the Memphis design movement as a template for the inspiration behind the interior; a 1980's design approach that often encourages the use of chaotic colours and unique style combinations.

Other on-board highlights include a covered al fresco dining area, stylish bar on the main deck and a swimming platform.

Unique to Tintin, the flybridge can be fully enclosed and air conditioned, and is completely customised with a fully teak deck, a stunning wet bar, whirlpool jacuzzi, sunbed and lounging areas with space aft for tender and toy storage.

Although she boasts such a deeply personal and carefully thought-out interior, Tintin was recently sold to new owners under Fraser Yachts, and is now ready to enjoy summer cruising.
