Transforming the Traditional Yachting Experience: 35m Expedition-Style M/Y FOX Delivered

FOX is a 35m expedition-style motor yacht that boasts a proudly-British build, with her design penned by Q London and her engineering and construction overseen by Pendennis shipyard. Since her inception, leading brokerage Burgess has worked with the design teams to support her build leading up to her launch and delivery.

She represents a new breed of adventure traveller, realised as a compact explorer vessel. Exploration plays a key part in every aspect of her design, even down to her name: FOX has been named after one of Falmouth’s most famous inventors Robert Were Fox the Younger who invented a compass that measured magnetic dip at sea in high latitudes, guiding the expedition that discovered the South Pole. 

FOX features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure that are built to RINA commercial classification. Her striking profile is muscular and practical, her light grey hull and white superstructure accenting her strong angular lines. 

The 103.5 sqm Tesumo aft deck is a standout feature of FOX’s design, complete with a DJ deck, sound system and bar area, making for a wonderful entertainment space on board. This area also boasts enough room for two 7.5m tenders or a combination of toys, vehicles or submersibles to be stored, depending on the Owner’s wishes. 

Her Mivan interior is marked by a bright and airy style, with cabins configured as a full beam master suite on the main deck and a further four ensuite cabins. Her impressive ceiling heights and modern interior beautifully contrast the robust exterior of FOX, the result being an unusual feeling of space for a yacht of this size. 

FOX is the perfect yacht for those seeking something alternative to the traditional yachting experience. She will be based in the Mediterranean over the summer, before attending the Autumn superyacht shows, starting at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
