The technical launch of the Istanbul-based shipyard’s 74m motor yacht took place earlier this month.

Bilgin 243 has arrived to Bilgin Yachts’ facility in West Istanbul Marina for her outfitting processes.

Having completed her technical launch in Yalova, the yacht is being prepared for delivery in 2024.

Bilgin Yachts’ CEO expressed his delighted at the achievement of his team.

The technical launch and design of Bilgin 243 proved a complete success for the whole Bilgin team,” said  İsmail Şengün.

We are very happy and proud of starting the year with a big splash.”

Designed by compatriots Unique Yacht Design, the naval architects styled a similar layout to the slightly larger Bilgin 263.

Bilgin 243 has five decks with plenty of different living areas for guests to frequent after her delivery.

Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design echoed Şengün’s thoughts about the success of Bilgin 243

He said: “This 74-meter yacht is the exact equivalent of a superyacht for us. She has a sexy, sharp masculine, modern yet clean and timeless, striking exterior appearance. Large windows and portholes allowed us to show the spaciousness of the yacht.

Özgün’s team included a 50m2 beach club, bar and lounge, areas, gym, sauna and tender garage for all the guests to enjoy, whilst Bilgin 243’s owners will have a special terrace with a private jacuzzi in their suite as well as the opportunity for full privacy thanks to the large area devoted to them in the front part of the main deck.

Bilgin 243 will be able to travel 5,000 miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots thanks to her 169,000-litre fuel capacity.
