United by Vision: Oceanco Launches the Striking 111m Y726

By Sophia Spanton

Oceanco has unveiled the highly anticipated Y726, a remarkable 111-metre superyacht that reflects not just technical prowess, but the quiet power of collaboration at its finest. Commissioned by a returning and deeply involved owner in 2022, Y726 represents more than a yacht launch; it is the realisation of a shared dream brought to life by designers, engineers and an experienced owner’s team working in total alignment. As she prepares for sea trials ahead of delivery later this year, she already stands as a defining project in Oceanco’s modern legacy.

Y726 is one of the largest yachts ever constructed at Oceanco by volume, with a beam of 16 metres. Her exterior, penned by Espen Øino International, is a study in sculptural precision, balanced with the warm and understated refinement of an interior by Mark Berryman Design. At every level, she has been conceived not to impress from a distance alone, but to envelop her owners and their guests in a world of calm sophistication, tailored for intimate family life at sea.

Underneath the elegant lines lies the combined work of Lateral Naval Architects and Oceanco’s in-house engineering team, brought together with the trusted guidance of the owner’s long-standing yachting advisor, Dan Jackson. Every element, from hull form to onboard flow, reflects hundreds of decisions made in harmony, led by the owner’s clear and consistent vision.

That vision, described by Wright Maritime Group CEO A.J. Anderson as one executed by 'hundreds of participants aligned in its determined delivery,' has defined the culture around Y726 since inception. For Oceanco, she represents not just scale and ambition, but the outcome of a truly seamless partnership. Lateral’s Lee Archer echoed this sentiment, calling the yacht 'a testament to engineering enabling design at the highest level' underscoring the synergy that allowed bold ideas to take shape without compromise.

Edske Smit, Project Director at Oceanco, attributes the project’s success to the trust and positivity that flowed across the shipyard, designer and owner’s teams alike. As Y726 moves into her final phase, she emerges not just as an extraordinary technical feat, but as a symbol of what is possible when experience, clarity of purpose and mutual respect align.

Elegant, exacting and born from a shared commitment to excellence, Y726 is destined to be one of the most admired launches of the year, and a lasting emblem of what true collaboration can create.
