Wally Sells First Hull of wallywind110 Sailing Superyacht

Luxury Italian shipyard, Wally, has announced the sale of the first hull of its brand-new 33.4m wallywind110 sailing yacht. Sold to a long-standing, passionate Wally client, this new superyacht is the perfect blend of form and function.

The wallywind110 is a true hybrid sailing superyacht. Offering the space and comfort seen in a classic deckhouse yacht, combined with the spirit and performance of an impressive racing vessel, the new Wally model encompasses the trademark style and proven sailing pedigree of the Italian yard.

Designed by judel/vrolijk & co naval architecture, with interiors and exteriors by Wally's in-house design team and Santa Maria Magnolfi design firm, the wallywind110 boasts simplicity and elegance, alongside pace and stability; the perfect combination for a competitive sailing yacht.

Featuring a raised saloon configuration, and a ‘terrace-on-the-sea’ concept, wallywind110 offers large amounts of comfortable living space inside, while her sleek exterior lines and curves provide fast journeys and impressive turn speeds around buoys.

One of the wallywind110’s most notable features is the huge 80sqm cockpit, which fills the full beam of the boat and provides the same volume as other, innovative 46-metre sailing yachts. The cockpit layout is entirely customisable, but offers seating and dining for up to 15 people on one level, making it the ideal spot for socialising.

The interior layout of the wallywind110 offers open-plan living that combines dining, lounging, and working areas. Her engine room is tucked beneath the saloon, creating a vast space that is perfect for socialising and relaxing indoors. The low-profile coachroof features a stunning skylight that runs the full length of the yacht, and combined with several windows in the coachroof and the hull, the living areas are brimming with an abundance of natural light.

Stefano de Vivo, Managing Director of Wally commented: ‘Wally’s sailing heritage is legendary, and under Ferretti Group, the brand is redoubling its efforts on the sail side. With the sale of this new carbon fiber sailing superyacht, Wally continues its remarkable contribution to the advancement of sailing design and technology.’

The sale of the first hull of the new wallywind110 is a testament to Wally's commitment to building yachts that combine elegance, simplicity, and high-performance capabilities.

‘When a client comes to Wally, they know they can expect the very highest standards and we are extremely proud for the confidence this experienced and selective owner is giving us once again. The wallywind110 is the head-turning exception in a crowded field of sailing yachts and I am sure it will impress the audience when it will be sailing in the Mediterranean Sea in summer 2024’, added the Managing Director.

Luca Bassani, Wally Founder and Chief Designer continued: ‘Wally owners are like family to us and it makes me extremely proud knowing that they continue to choose us to build their dreams on the water. From the very beginning, we have been able to listen to their wishes and transform them into unique characteristics of their yachts, always managing to even exceed their expectations thanks to Wally's experience and know-how.’
