WATCH: Riva Flagship 50 Metri M/Y Fifty Launched

M/Y Fifty has her roots in the great dream by the genius of Carlo Riva, with the celebrated ‘Caravelle’ and ‘Atlantic’ series motoryachts of the 1960s and 70s, once again a made a reality.

50-metres in length and with a maximum beam of nine metres, M/Y Fifty was developed by the Riva Superyacht Division. The superyacht offers outstanding cruising experiences defined by comfort, attention to detail and an evolved vision of life at sea. It is these values that have made Riva a legendary name in international yachting for the last 179 years.

The video in the slider shows the development of the Riva flagship as she takes shape from a rough hull into the glistening and elegant superyacht that was launched at the Ancona shipyard.

She interprets Riva’s classic stylistic and aesthetic hallmarks, notably those of accurate sophistication in her blue-tinged shark grey colour, and the elegant blend of mahogany, steel and glass featured in her exteriors.

The Riva 50 Metri is the fruit of a collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta and the exclusive designer of all Riva models, and the team created to develop Riva’s new superyachts with the Product Strategy Committee led by Mr Piero Ferrari.
