WILD ONE: 110m Explorer Yacht Concept with Climate-Adaptive Design

By Sophia Spanton

Palladino Yacht Design has revealed its latest concept, the 110-metre explorer yacht WILD ONE, a bold design that combines long-range capability with highly adaptable living spaces. Defined by a striking exterior and a strong focus on versatility, the concept is designed to operate seamlessly across both warm and cold climates.

WILD ONE is immediately distinguished by her profile, characterised by a commanding reverse bow, layered deck architecture and expansive glazing. Sculptural lines run throughout the superstructure, softened by curved windows amidships and circular hull glazing that balance the yacht’s otherwise angular form, creating a dynamic interplay between structure and light.

At the core of the concept is a flexible approach to onboard living. In warmer climates, the observation deck is transformed by two prominent oval sunpads mounted on a motorised track system. These movable features glide along the deck edge, offering uninterrupted forward and lateral views. Individually adjustable, they can recline for private relaxation or shift into sociable seating arrangements, introducing both functional versatility and a distinctive visual identity.

For colder conditions, WILD ONE adapts through an advanced enclosure system. The upper observation deck can be fully sheltered by accordion-style roof panels and Plexiglas surrounds, converting the space into a protected environment without compromising views. A similar solution is applied to the midship deck, where a protruding roof and enclosing panels create a sheltered indoor-outdoor zone centred around a pool. This pool extends into the main superstructure, forming an enclosed beach club, with a central window that can be raised to unify interior and exterior spaces into one continuous feature.

The owner’s suite is positioned forward, benefitting from commanding views over the bow. This private area is defined by a dramatic double-height living space centred around a circular window, conceived as a combined library, office and lounge. An adjoining private deck further enhances the sense of exclusivity and connection to the surrounding environment.

Reinforcing the yacht’s explorer credentials, WILD ONE incorporates a dedicated onboard vehicle collection, including sports cars, off-road vehicles, ATVs and a luxury SUV. These are supported by a landing craft accessed via a side garage, enabling direct deployment onto remote shorelines. Beyond transport, the craft is designed for a range of uses, from beach setups to supporting watersports activities.

Social spaces are carefully zoned throughout the yacht. Adjacent to the vehicle storage, a relaxed entertainment area offers a bar, cigar lounge, pool table and media wall, while a contrasting wellness centre is located beneath the aft helipad. This quieter space includes a juice bar, yoga studio and sauna, creating a dedicated environment for relaxation.

Additional amenities include a cinema, gym, wine cellar, beach club and guest accommodation, alongside fully equipped crew and technical areas. Together, these features position WILD ONE as a concept that balances adventure with onboard comfort.

With its emphasis on adaptability, innovative spatial design and a strong visual identity, WILD ONE reflects a growing demand for explorer yachts capable of delivering both global capability and refined onboard living.
