From stunning beaches, to dramatic clifftops and hidden coves, discover the hidden gems of the UK’s coastline. This exciting itinerary takes you through historic docks and quaint harbours, to the cosmopolitan city of Brighton, before setting sail on a journey past the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head to historic Dover. Finally, relax on a cruise along the River Thames and take time to enjoy sightseeing in London.

  • Day 1
    Southampton - Isle of Wight
    Southampton - Isle of Wight

    Guests are welcomed on board a luxury motoryacht in Southampton’s Ocean Village Marina. The motoryacht will cruise to the Isle of Wight. Passing the internationally renowned yachting town of Cowes, the motoryacht will continue along the Medina River and berth by the Folly Inn. Guests go ashore for lunch. There will be the opportunity for sight-seeing on the island this afternoon before berthing in Cowes Yacht Haven for the night.

  • Day 2
    Portsmouth
    Portsmouth

    Today’s cruise takes in the Eastern Solent before entering Portsmouth Harbour. There will be a tour of the harbour before docking in Gunwharf Quay. Guests go ashore for lunch. This afternoon can be spent enjoying the many shops here, or venturing into the Historic Dockyard, which is home to HMS Victory. The motoryacht remains in Gunwharf Quay for the night.

  • Day 3
    Portsmouth - Chichester
    Portsmouth - Chichester

    Departing Portsmouth, the motoryacht will head east. Tide permitting, it will be possible to anchor in Chichester Harbour for lunch. Later, your vessel will round Selsey Bill and continue east to the next port of call, Brighton. Brighton marina has extensive facilities including a cinema, bars and restaurants. Alternatively, guests can head into the town to sample its entertainment

    Brighton

    Today, guests can spend the day at leisure in Brighton. Brighton is renowned for its excellent shopping as well as its nightlife and sights such as the magnificent Brighton Pavilion.

  • Day 5
    Eastbourne
    Eastbourne

    After a cruise of around an hour, you will arrive in Eastbourne. The journey from Brighton will take you past the famous ‘Seven Sisters’, Beachy Head and the Royal Sovereign Lighthouse. Relax in Eastbourne this afternoon – perhaps taking a walk along the promenade or heading to the golf course by Beachy Head, looking out over the English Channel and South Downs.

    Eastbourne - Dover
    Eastbourne - Dover

    Departing Eastbourne, a journey of about two hours will take you to the famous port of Dover. The town’s history can be glimpsed through several attractions, including Dover Castle.

    Dover - Ramsgate
    Dover - Ramsgate

    Leaving the ‘White Cliffs of Dover’ behind, the motoryacht will continue along the Kent coastline to Ramsgate. The ‘Royal Harbour’ of Ramsgate is home to several historic ships and has a rich history due to its strategic position on the Channel. Spend the afternoon discovering this town’s maritime history before relaxing at a waterside bar in the early evening.

    Ramsgate to Chatham
    Ramsgate to Chatham

    Chatham on the River Medway is the next port of call. Today’s cruise will take you past the eerie Shivering Sands Forts and into the Thames Estuary. Chatham Historic Dockyard, which is regularly used as the backdrop for period films, offers some interesting maritime sights including warships and artefacts from the Cutty Sark.

  • Day 9
    Chatham to London
    Chatham to London

    The final leg of today’s journey will take you to out of the Medway and into the Thames. The cruise up the river will offer some spectacular views of the city – from the QE2 Bridge, the Millennium Dome and Tower Bridge. The yacht will enter St Katharine’s Yacht Haven where it will remain berthed. St Katharine’s provides an oasis of calm in the centre of London – the perfect base from which to explore.

    London

    Use your yacht as your abse today as you continue to explore London. Visit any one of the grand city's famous sites, take in a show at the theatre, stroll the parks or shop along the renowned strips of Oxford, Regent and Bond Street before your journey finally comes to an end.
