Indulgent Islands of the Bay of Naples

From Naples to Naples

7 Days

Lying seductively off the west coast of Italy are the Partenopean Islands; four sublime Italian specks in the bay of Naples. Cruising between the delights of Ischia, Capri, Procida and Vivara creates a wonderful itinerary of brilliant beaches, sophisticated towns, luxury spas and historical discovery. From the renowned thermal hot springs of Ischia to the chic reputation of Capri, a few days spent visiting these picture-perfect islands brings rest and relaxation with a dollop of invigorating activity.

    Naples to Procida

Board your yacht in the famed yachting centre of Naples; the gateway to the Partenopean Islands. Enjoy a few leisurely hours exploring the sights of this energetic town or simply relax on the deck before setting sail towards the first island in the Bay of Naples, Procida.

  • Day 2
    Procida
    Procida

The closest of the islands to Italy’s mainland and also the Bay’s smallest and oldest, Procida is the relatively undiscovered gem of the Bay of Naples. Offering its visitors flourishing gardens and fragrant lemon and orange groves, the island is home to the pretty Marina Grande surrounded by pastel houses which makes a good overnight spot. Spend the day exploring and swimming in the variety of small coves and inlets that dot the coastline and don’t forget to pay a visit to the town of Corricella where you can enjoy a quiet drink or meal under the shade of long stairways and courtyard-houses.

Uninhabited Vivara is actually connected to Procida to the south-west by a small bridge and is mostly covered by a nature reserve protected by the WWF. Striking olive grows and abundant wildlife characterise the tiny island as well as a number of archaeological sites rich in historical culture. Visit the peaceful island as a day trip before setting off south towards the largest island in the Bay of Naples, Ischia.
