146-metre OPERA Anchors in Party Island Mykonos
Lürssen's iconic 146-metre OPERA was spotted in the party island of Mykonos, Greece earlier this week, becoming a dazzling spectacle for locals and tourists in the area.
Mykonos continues to welcome a number of private yachts as the Summer season begins, attracting an array of ultra-high-networth indivduals year on year.
Launched in September 2022 and delivered in March of this year, the eye-watering $450 milion OPERA has since completed her maiden voyage to Portsmouth International Port, now proving she is ready to take on a new adventure in warmer seas.
She is currently considered to be the tenth largest luxury superyacht in the world, continuing to take over headlines as she carries out her first major journey to the Mediterranean. She now suprasses Lürssen's 145-metre Project LUMINANCE, overtaking her in length by one metre.
Featuring distinctive exterior lines from the drawing board of esteemed yacht designer Terence Disdale, OPERA is yet another shining example of German shipyard Lürssen.
Despite boasting a strong white profile, seven expansive decks, twin helipads, and two open-air swimming pools, many of the key design details and specifications of OPERA remain highly secretive.
However, she is said to have a beam of 20 metres, a gross tonnage of around 12500, and is powered by a diesel electric engine.
The Superyachts.com team will be sure to keep our eyes peeled for where OPERA makes an entrance next.
