A Masterpiece of Balance and Architectural Harmony: First Pershing GTX80 Launched
On April 3rd, the first unit of the Pershing GTX80 was launched: a beautiful blend of design and elegance with state-of-the-art innovations. She is characterised by a fluid layout, with an array of show-stopping features including a sundeck that is 60 percent larger than the category average.
The GTX80 is the result of an exceptional collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, design studio Vallicelli Design and the Group’s Engineering Department.
This 24m yacht offers a new dimension of comfort on board, with her interiors and exteriors communicating seamlessly with each other, resulting in a uniquely luxurious space. The GTX80 has two decks and a sport-bridge, able to accommodate up to eight guests in a four-cabin layout.
A signature feature of this model is the bright and airy spaces on the main deck, enhanced with extensive glazing. A living area located aft of the helm station boasts a generous corner sofa, a dining area and a fully integrated galley/bar directly overlooking the cockpit, lending itself to fluid spaces.
The kitchen area features black elements which harmoniously contrast the pale parquet, coloured-coordinated with the metallic silver lacquered ceiling. The ceiling also features intersecting diagonal LED lights that diffuse light across the entire deck, just one of the many innovative design elements of the GTX80.
Her exteriors are characterised by the classic Pershing grey, featuring an array of innovations that result in an even closer connection to the water being established. She has been designed without stanchions, the bulwarks have been lightened by a longitudinal slot, and those in the stern serve a dual function of incorporating the winches and converting into lateral terraces that swing down.
A show-stopping element of the GTX80’s outdoor spaces is the incredibly versatile stern platform that has three different positions. It can be left in the default position, raised so it's flush with the beach area to extend the aft living space, or used for launching tenders.
On top of this, the GTX80 also has a spacious, 23 sqm sundeck, 60 percent larger than the category average. The carbon fibre hard-top which is available for the sun deck delivers both exceptional performance whilst contributing to the yacht’s overall aesthetic appearance.
The GTX80 reaches a top speed of 34 knots with a cruising speed of 28 knots, equipped with three engines.
"The interiors and exteriors on board this model communicate seamlessly with each other, creating a unique space and a new dimension of comfort."
