Full-custom motor yacht COMFORTABLY NUMB was created and built by CRN, who oversaw the naval architecture, engineering and construction of this unique project at the Ferretti Group Ancona superyacht yard. The Italian yard’s expertise blends beautifully with the craftsmanship of Nuvolari Lenard, who developed the concept for both the yacht's exteriors and interiors. The result is a highly innovative and totally bespoke build, designed to offer an unforgettable cruising experience. 

This eye-catching vessel was built to the desires of her Owners who were seeking a high-performance displacement superyacht, resulting in a reduced draft to allow for shallow cruising, alongside generous ceiling heights and spacious interiors. Alongside her clever design, COMFORTABLY NUMB boasts a strong stylistic identity, with sleek, taut and powerful exterior lines exuding a sophisticated elegance, reminiscent of the speed and fluidity typical of automotive design. 

COMFORTABLY NUMB spans five decks and can accommodate up to 12 guests and 13 crew. Her cruising comfort is enhanced by the use of cutting-edge technology, allowing her to have a unique performance capacity for a pleasure vessel, with a maximum speed of over 25 knots. She epitomises the shipyard’s innovative approach, designed and executed to the highest standards of excellence, combining outstanding performance with an exclusive lifestyle on board. 

Her living areas have been attributed a spacious feel, with light-filled interiors and exteriors seamlessly interconnected and enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows that establish a constant connection with the sea. 

To achieve the exact weight and speed requirements stated in her contract, COMFORTABLY NUMB draws on materials research as complex as it is carefully considered. For instance, CRN used lightweight cork during the application and levelling of the decking as opposed to higher-density alternatives. 

Another example of the hi-tech design behind this superyacht includes a system devised by CRN to constantly monitor her weight and centre of gravity via WIFI, using extremely precise strain gauges. The engineering team dedicated a special focus on fine-tuning their design and calculations, resulting in a supremely lightweight superyacht that boasts impeccable performance. 

She has been built to IMO Tier III certification: the result of a reduction of up to 70 percent in harmful emissions contained in the engine exhaust, showcasing her to be innovative in her sustainable nature alongside her impressive seakeeping abilities.
