CRN Announces New Contract for a Full-Custom 67m Yacht
CRN has signed a contract for a fully bespoke 67m motor yacht, named Project 146. This innovative and beautiful pleasure vessel is the 10th collaboration between the Italian yard and Nuvolari Lenard, representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship and innovation.
Project 146 is a design which beautifully blends the expert build qualities of CRN with the creativity of Nuvolari Lenard, with sleek and streamlined exterior lines, an elegant aesthetic and the latest innovations.
As well as her stunning design, she will also feature a number of stand-out elements, including expansive outdoor areas, a dive centre, a plethora of water toys, and a touch-and-go helipad on the upper deck.
CRN is a shipyard dedicated to sustainable yacht design, with Project 146 set to feature a state-of-the-art hybrid propulsion system. This combined with a heat recovery system will significantly reduce fuel consumption, as thermal energy from the generators will be used to heat the water on board.
Project 146 marks a pivotal moment for CRN and Nuvolari Lenard as she is the 10th creation to come from this partnership. Some previous designs which highlight the calibre of this collaboration are 60m COMFORTABLY NUMB which boasts a strong stylistic identity with five decks and generous volumes and 62m VOICE: the first yacht from the Italian yard to earn IMO Tier II Certification, marking a 70% reduction of harmful nitrogen oxide emissions.
Alongside Project 146, three other full-custom CRN superyachts are currently in build at Ferretti’s yard in Ancona: 85m CRN M/Y 144, 70m CRN M/Y 145 Project Thunderball, and 67m CRN M/Y 143 Project Maranello, yet another CRN/Nuvolari Lenard collaboration.
With 26 yachts currently under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, CRN’s expertise and exceptional level of craftsmanship is showcased. Project 146 is set to encapsulate the essence of the Italian yard, boasting not only a beautiful design but technologically advanced features.
Project 146’s Owner is represented by Moran Yacht & Ship, who is playing an important role as both the management team and the Owner’s representative. The entire build will be supervised by the New Construction Team, who also negotiated the building contract and penned the technical specifications.
