Damen Yachting Completes Technical Launch of Seventh Øino-Designed Amels 60

Beginning her life at Damen’s new-build facilities in Poland, Amels 6007 has now safely arrived in Vlissingen after her departure from the build yard in January, ready to begin the final stages of her build. She will join several of her Amels 60 predecessors that are currently in build, as well as an Amels 200 and the highly-anticipated Amels 80. 

Her initial renderings show her to feature the signature Amels 60 look, with geometric windows and distinguishable exterior stylings penned by Espen Øino. Alongside this iconic profile, she also boasts her own unique features, most notably her impressive interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard, responsible for the new interior design for the Amels 60 series. 

Amels 6007 is able to accommodate up to 12 guests and 12 crew members plus the Captain, positioning her as the perfect vessel for both private and charter use. Whilst details of her design and amenities are yet to be revealed, we can assume she’ll follow suit of the other Amels 60 superyachts and boast a range of stand-out features, such as the expansive sun deck found on ENTOURAGE that includes a jacuzzi pool, sun pads, large bar and dining area. 

Her technical launch confirms the success of the yard’s award-winning Limited Editions series, as she highlights the monumental endurance of the shipyard’s evolution. The Amels 6007 is warmly welcomed as the newest member of the Damen Yachting family, officially scheduled for delivery in Spring 2025.
