Fincantieri Unveils 70m Blanche Concept

By George Bains

Fincantieri Yachts has reaffirmed its commitment to ground-breaking new designs with the unveiling of its latest superyacht concept, 70-metre Blanche.

Last year, the historic Italian builder went back to its naval roots when it released 80m concept VIS. Now, the timeless and intrinsically Italian Blanche will usher in a ‘new generation’ of Fincantieri Yachts.

The 70m superyacht concept has been designed with a truly ‘Made in Italy’ aesthetic, with Fincantieri collaborating with young Italian designer Gabriele Teruzzi. It is this combination of Fincantieri’s experience and Teruzzi’s inspiration that the shipyard says will form the core of its new philosophy. Blanche features a contemporary superyacht profile with sleek lines, while an astute use of glass and guest space eliminates visual obstructions to the panoramic views around the yacht.

The interior is brightened by full height windows and sliding glazed enclosures, and the Owner will enjoy a master suite and terrace that totals 190sqm. There is also a large 126sqm wellness area for guests to immerse themselves in, which connects directly to the inviting external areas. Teruzzi has penned large open social areas with exquisite modern styling, seen in the pictures above.

Fincantieri Yachts, the dedicated superyacht business unit of the esteemed Fincantieri Group, has ignited the industry in the past with the deliveries of Top100 superyachts Serene and Ocean Victory. With world-class concepts Vis and now Blanche forming part of an enviable Fincantieri portfolio, it can’t be too long before another remarkable Top100 Fincantieri superyacht enters production.
