Damen Yachting’s Full Custom Amels 120 superyacht is nearing her completion as the hull and superstructure arrived at the shipyard’s Vlissingen facility to commence outfitting. The milestone marks the start of the final construction phase, providing a first glimpse at the stunning design.

The Full Custom Amels 120 is scheduled for delivery in 2025, and is the largest superyacht in-build in the Netherlands, while also being the largest Amels superyacht to date.

Her striking exterior design is the work of Espen Øino, with naval architecture by Damen Yachting. The interiors of this five-deck superyacht remain private.

The arrival of the Amels 120 at Vlissingen follows her recent launch from the Amels hull building facility at Damen Shipyards Galati a month ago, which was marked by a celebration involving both the team from Vlissingen and Galati.

“The launch of the hull was an emotional yet incredible moment for all those who have played such an integral part in the realisation of the Amels 120 Full Custom so far,” reflects Jeroen Waalewijn, Amels Project Manager.

“To see her out on the water and to now have her here in Vlissingen is a testament to the entire project team. We look forward to this next stage in her build journeyas we transform her into our future flag ship.”

As the future flagship of Damen Yachting, the Amels 120 Full Custom incorporates the prestigious Dutch builder’s latest design and technology features. In an important innovation to limit the superyacht’s impact on the environment, she will be powered by diesel-electric engines and Azipod electric propulsion. The Amels 120 is also set to operate with the lowest levels of noise and vibration ever recorded on a yacht of this size.
